Account Manager (OEM and Food Trading)

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify the market opportunity for OEM and food trading and set priority of customer engagement

  • Generate lead from the pipelines and design engagement program for our OEM and food trading customers

  • Develop new business accounts and build up an extensive network of corporate and institutional clients

  • Build trust and educate our customers the benefits to use our products and service

  • Perform the overall sales processes of OEM and food trading from pre-engagement, briefing and site visit, request for proposal (‘RFP’), tender proposal preparation, pitching strategy and presentation, negotiation, mobilization and customer service follow up

  • Research and identify the market opportunity and set priority of customer engagement

  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal departments
    Assist in preparing yearly budget on total revenue and departmental overhead costs

  • Assist in managing daily operations and providing training and guidance to subordinates

  • Maintain data and information integrity in departmental work systems

  • Promote our professional and ethical brand image to our customers

  • Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Management

Requirements

  • Degree holder in Sales and Marketing, Hospitality / Catering and/or Tourism Management, or equivalent

  • At least 4 years’ relevant experience in food and beverage, retails, FMCG and wholesales fields, of which 2 years in supervisory level

  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills with strong sense of customer focus

  • Good problem-solving skill with strong planning skills

  • Self-motivated and a result driven player

  • Able to manage and measure work with continuous improvement and dynamic environment

  • Excellent understanding of customer and market dynamics

  • Ability to manage profit and loss statement (‘P&L’) of assigned key accounts

  • Excellent command of written and spoken Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin) and EnglishDiploma holder, preferably in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
