Quality Specialist – Cargo Terminal Services

Quality Department, Shared Services provides professional quality assurance services to Cathay Pacific Airways Limited and its subsidiaries (the ‘Company’), including but not limited to Cathay Pacific Catering Services (H.K.) Limited (‘CPCS’), Cathay Pacific Services Limited (‘CPSL’), Hong Kong Airport Services Limited (‘HAS’) and Vogue Laundry Service Limited (‘VLS’).
Responsibilities
Maintain quality system requirements in line with the Corporate quality policy including the effective definition of the organisation and relevant charts and terms of reference for all operational support activities
Assist to design, create and maintain technical documentation including system manuals, operational manuals, user guides/work instructions and training handbooks, and etc., utilised for cargo and mail handling
Review inspection checklists and latest workflow/requirements and conduct quality control programme
Plan and conduct internal audits as an auditor/lead auditor in quality assurance programme and external audits such as customer airlines audit, Cargo iQ, GDP, ISAGO, CEIV
Assist to participate in formal monitoring and evaluation of functional delivery of quality outputs to ensure their effective and efficient implementation including the establishment of findings and related remedial action plans
Review ORSAG monthly report, ensure Cargo iQ requirements are strictly followed and coordinate Cargo iQ SAL performance follow up actions
Implement on-going quality improvement process by monitoring operations procedures and coordinate with different business units if there is any new handling procedures/ standards, to have documented procedures and requirements
Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned by the Management
Requirements
Degree holder in Quality, Safety Management, ERP Training or other related disciplines
Minimum 4 years relevant experience, preferred in quality certification schemes in professional, air cargo terminal or relevant business environment
Sound track record in planning, implementation of new and existing quality documentation system
Experience in audit is an advantage
Well versed in international quality standards, IMS and relevant legislation issues (e.g. WHO GDP, CEIV, ISAGO, IOSA, IMS, ISO 20000)
Good interpersonal and communication skills with proactive, tactful and result-oriented personality
Strong planning, problem-solving and analytical skills with can-do and self-motivated attitude
Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
Proficiency in computer literacy, such as MS Excel
