Head of Performance & Rewards, Digital and Governance

People, Shared Services provides services to Cathay Pacific Airways Limited and its subsidiaries (the ‘Company’), including but not limited to Cathay Pacific Catering Services (H.K.) Limited (‘CPCS’), Cathay Pacific Services Limited (‘CPSL’), Hong Kong Airport Services Limited (‘HAS’) and Vogue Laundry Service Limited (‘VLS’).

Responsibilities

  • Establish strategies and plans to ensure that the total spend on employees drives the right organizational behavior and that the organization has the frameworks, tools, methodologies, career and performance management frameworks in place to effectively incentivize and recognize high performance

  • Collaborate with People Business Partners and business leaders to understand issues related to compensation and benefits and ensure competitiveness within desired financial envelope

  • Design and drive the total rewards strategy to develop a motivated and satisfied workforce that enables subsidiaries to improve business performance and achieve desired result

  • Lead and oversee the performance management strategy and performance management process, framework and tools

  • Use data and market insights to lead and drive change of the subsidiaries’ total rewards strategy

  • Oversee the collection, compilation, and analysis of People data, develop analytics and insights capabilities, baseline, targets and reporting frameworks to drive the focus of the Departments with People Management functions and influence and shape business strategies and priorities

  • Lead the design and execution of Employee Data Governance for all employee groups. Ensure policies are aligned to company values, D&I standards, legislative requirements and international best practice

  • Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Management

Requirements

  • Degree holder or above in human resources or related disciplines

  • Minimum 10 years' relevant experience in people management, including at least 6 years in leadership roles

  • Deep knowledge and broad experience in rewards, analytics and governance with experience designing and implementing strategies

  • In depth functional knowledge of contemporary and best HR practices and processes in the area of performance and rewards management

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing HR digital systems and solutions

  • Experience designing multiple rewards, analysis and governance strategies and frameworks for different employee groups within a single organisational framework
