Safety & Operational Risk Department, Cathay Subsidiary Services provides services to Cathay Pacific Airways Limited and its subsidiaries (the ‘Company’), including but not limited to Cathay Cargo Terminal ('CCT'), Cathay Pacific Catering Services (H.K.) Limited (‘CPCS’), Hong Kong Airport Services Limited (‘HAS’) and Vogue Laundry Service Limited (‘VLS’).
Responsibilities
Provide services for Hong Kong Airport Services Limited (HAS) and Cathay Pacific Airways Limited and its subsidiaries, including but not limited to Cathay Pacific Catering Services (H.K.) Limited (CPCS), Cathay Pacific Services Limited (CPSL), Vogue Laundry Service Limited (VLS).
Senior Business Improvement Analyst is accountable for leading the continuous improvement projects and data analysis in the organization. The job holder is a core member in the Business Improvement Section to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of business process and establish fact-based and data-driven decision making.
Key Responsibilities
To work closely with the Business Improvement Manager to develop plans to drive and foster the continuous improvement practice/ behaviour throughout the organization.
To conduct operating process diagnosis using various research and analytical tools including staff interviews, workshops, process/ value stream mapping.
To engage cross-functional employees in the delivery of improvement projects to drive for improvements in efficiency and effectiveness.
To facilitate multiple projects in order to achieve committed savings and reflected in the future business provision.
To build an improvement culture and implement a continuous improvement mindset in processes and people in the organization.
Any ad hoc duties as assigned by your superior.
Requirements
Degree holder / Tertiary Education in project management or related disciplines.
Minimum 2 years in relevant project management experience.
Solid track record in business process analysis and continuous improvement.
Analytical, proactive and independent with sound communication skills.
Qualification in Lean Six Sigma and PMP are highly desirable.
Good command of both written and spoken Chinese and English.
