People - Assistant People Manager

People Department, Cathay Subsidiary Services provides services to Cathay Pacific Airways Limited and its subsidiaries (the ‘Company’), including but not limited to Cathay Cargo Terminal ('CCT'), Cathay Pacific Catering Services (H.K.) Limited (‘CPCS’), Hong Kong Airport Services Limited (‘HAS’) and Vogue Laundry Service Limited (‘VLS’).

Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team to ensure smooth operations of full spectrum of compensation and benefits duties including payroll administration taxation, leave management and employee’s compensation.

  • Drive the enhancement of HR and associated system(s), closely monitor the system performance and communicate with internal and external parties for troubleshooting and enrichment.

  • Review, update and implement HR Policies and Procedures to ensure that all are in compliance with the local labour laws and related legislative requirements as well as aligned with best practices.

  • Responsible for medical plan and insurance renewal.

  • Work with stakeholders on budgeting, benchmarking, compensation review and annual salary review

  • Direct the preparation of relevant People Reporting (dashboards, C&B analytics)

Requirements

  • University graduate in Human Resources, Business Administration and/or related discipline.

  • Minimum 6 years all-rounded personnel experience including 2 years at supervisory level.

  • Hands on experience on C&B operations.

  • Experience in HRIS implementation is an advantage.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Passion to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

  • Conversant with the Employment and related Ordinances.

  • Good command of both English and Chinese.

  • Change agent, customer focused, detail minded, proactive, execute with excellence and result oriented.
