Customer and Commercial - Assistant Business Development Manager/ Account Manager, Aviation Commercial (VLS)

Customer and Commercial Department, Cathay Subsidiary Services provides services to Cathay Pacific Airways Limited and its subsidiaries (the ‘Company’), including but not limited to Cathay Cargo Terminal ('CCT'), Cathay Pacific Catering Services (H.K.) Limited (‘CPCS’), Hong Kong Airport Services Limited (‘HAS’) and Vogue Laundry Service Limited (‘VLS’).


  • Develop new business accounts to deliver business target.

  • Nurture relationship with housekeeping managers as the primary contact point for service delivery to meet customer’s needs.

  • Prepare tender and quotation documents for bidding new business for corporate expansion.

  • Supervise corporate services team to deliver service to customers as request.

  • Arrange regular customer visits to ensure service issues are improved and solved.

  • Coordinate different departments, including Production, Logistic, Quality, Integrated System Centre, Finance to maintain customer manual to ensure all required services are well managed.

  • Handle, investigate and resolve customer major complaints and incidents via all channels, i.e., phone, email, and letter.

  • Extract, review and analyse report data to identify problems and opportunities for service improvement and business development.

  • Maintain the data in production systems including GLUS (Guest Laundry and Uniform System), IVS2, Electronic forms, etc.

  • Coordinate with Marketing to develop and maintain corporate website, corporate video, brochure, and photo shooting.

  • Prepare customer survey to review annual performance of all customers facing departments including Production, Logistic, Finance, Customer Service and Marketing to measure customer satisfaction

  • Assist plant tours to existing and potential customers.

  • Perform any projects or ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Management.


  • Degree holder or above

  • Minimum of 4 years solid experience in sales and marketing and account servicing, including 2 years at supervisory level.

  • Outgoing and willing to learn and take initiative.

  • Strong in negotiation, influencing, interpersonal and presentation skills & strong sense of customer focus.

  • Work independently, self-motivated, proactive, energetic and customer oriented.

  • Able to work under tight timeline and pressure.

  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Cantonese. Mandarin would be an advantage.

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Chinese word processing

  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant BDD Manager.
