Quality Control Manager

  • Manage the food safety and hygiene and quality control aspects of Production Department to achieve quality performance targets
  • Manage and review quality and hygiene system, e.g. HACCP, ISO9001, ISO 14000, and related Quality and Food Safety standards
  • Review GMP standards
  • Work closely with Quality Assurance Department to conduct internal food safety and hygiene inspections and airline audits
  • Manage existing and design, develop and execute new production quality control programmes to ensure conformity of company quality control standards and airlines’ specification
  • Organize and deliver food safety training to promote staff awareness
  • Drive investigations of customer complaints and product failure related to food hygiene and safety, to facilitate resolution as well as implementation of corrective and preventive actions
  • Follow up on audit reports and implement manage corrective action plans
  • Degree holder or above, preferably in Food Science or related disciplines
  • Minimum 8 years relevant experience with 3 years in management level
  • Food and Beverage industry experience preferred
  • Sound knowledge on quality and hygiene system, e.g. HACCP, ISO9001, ISO14000
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken Chinese and English 
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership and coordination skills
  • Able to work independently in a matrix and fast-paced environment
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Quality Control Manager
