Responsibilities
- Maintain smooth operations and stability of IT Infrastructure services by monitoring and analyzing daily operational matters, resolving issues and problems in the most effective and speedy manner
- Monitor and maintain the accessibility of IT Infrastructure services and resources to the agreed system availability and performance
- Execute and administer the provisioning of the IT Infrastructure services to support the business requirements
- Deliver of Infrastructure Projects according to the established plan
- Analyze and resolve problem so as to avoid repetitive service disruptions to the business
- Provide technical advice to IT colleagues on the use of the IT Infrastructure and integration of various business applications
Requirements
- Degree holder in Computer Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 4 years of IT experience with at least 3 years hands on experience in IT Infrastructure Support
- Must have solid technical knowledge and hands on experience on Unix (AIX, Solaris) clustering and Oracle Databases
- Knowledge on Microsoft Windows Server, Lotus Notes, desktop infrastructure and system management tools are of advantage
- Self motivated, strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Customer service oriented
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Pager support is required
