Assistant Catering Services Manager

  • Holds the working title as Airline Account Manager and acts as the facilitator and primary point of contact between customers and internal departments round the clock every day
  • Works cross functionally within the organization in adding value to exceed customer expectations and monitors customer satisfaction trends
  • Ensures that customer operational services are provided by coordinating customer requirements with internal departments; and ensures proper preparation and performance targets are met
  • Observes industry standards and market trends and monitors account performance, providing regular and ad-hoc performance summaries
  • Maintains close relations with clients and stakeholders; Develops proactive service and management concepts with the objective of developing progressive and sustainable relationships
  • Creates a point of difference by internalizing customer services through the governance process; Manages customer complaints by instigating investigations and ensuring corrective actions are followed through


  • Tertiary educated, preferably with a Degree in Hospitality Management, Customer Service or related disciplines
  • At least 3 years account management in catering sector and / or airline operations experience
  • Customer focused with a good understanding of general commercial ethics
  • Team player with strong interpersonal, analyzing and influencing skills
  • Able to work under pressure, independently and have good problem solving skills and with can-do spirit
  • Willing to take challenges and enjoy meeting people
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office Software (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Chinese word processing)
  • Excellent communication skills (fluent in both English and Cantonese, proficiency in spoken Mandarin would be a definite plus)
  • Driving license is an advantage
